Sam Worthington will be donning his best tux this weekend when he hits the red carpet at the Oscars, where he’s set to present. But, we’ve had our eye on the dishy Aussie for some time now. The action stud has been getting our pulse racing thanks to his killer looks and killer moves. So, in honor of him and his Oscar nominated flick, “Avatar,” Sam is this week’s Hump Day Hottie.

Vital Stats: The 33-year-old Aussie was actually born in England before moving to Australia when he was a kid. He worked a number of odd jobs before getting accepted into National Institute of Dramatic Art where he later went on to make a name for himself in theater and Australian movies and TV shows. And, sorry ladies currently the action stud is linked to his lady love, Natalie Mark.

Where you might have already seen him: America really started taking notice of Sam in his role as Marcus Wright in “Terminator Salvation.” But, he’s no newbie to acting, even if he’s still a fresh face in Hollywood. He’s done everything from donning Macbeth tights to having roles on TV shows in his homeland. Plus, he was once tied to the role of James Bond before Daniel Craig took the reigns. Shaken not stirred indeed!

Why you should take notice of him now: Well, he’s only the star of the biggest movie ever, “Avatar.” And he’s set to present at the Oscars this weekend. Once that’s all wrapped up, he’s got a number of big roles ready to go for the future including “Clash of the Titans,” “Dracula Year Zero” and, of course, an “Avatar” sequel.
